Key Responsibilities
- Media Coordination
• Maintain and update media contact lists across national, regional, and education-focused
publications.
• Coordinate with journalists, editors, and influencers for coverage opportunities and story
placements.
• Support the planning and execution of press events, briefings, and interviews.
- Press Content & Communication
• Draft and edit press releases, media advisories, and spokesperson quotes.
• Assist in developing story ideas and pitching them to relevant media outlets.
• Support leadership in preparing talking points, Q&As, and event communication material.
- Monitoring & Reporting
• Track and compile daily/weekly media coverage reports.
• Analyze coverage quality, tone, and share of voice.
• Maintain a central repository of published articles and PR outcomes.
- Campaign & Event Support
- Support PR amplification for Sunstone’s key campaigns, events, and launches (e.g.,
Educathon, Student Choice Awards, webinars, and campus activations).
• Liaise with internal teams and agency partners to align messaging and timing.
- Social & Digital Amplification
• Collaborate with the social media and content teams to extend PR stories across owned
platforms.
• Identify opportunities for influencer engagement and earned social visibility.
